The most popular platforms for over-the-counter trading in currencies and CFDs — MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) — are no longer available for download from the App Store, the app store of the American manufacturer Apple Inc.

A MetaQuotes spokesperson said the company received a message from Apple on Friday, 23 September. According to that message, the applications do not meet the requirements of the App Store. They were removed the same day.

Apple confirmed that customers who had downloaded the apps would not be affected. They will be able to use the apps on their devices and make in-app purchases.

At the moment, MetaQuotes is in talks with Apple to shed light on the situation and settle the issue.

As MT4 is not available for now, we suggest you start using Allpips, the web platform, as it meets all the requirements and needs of traders, and its performance is not behind desktop terminals. Moreover, the platform noticeably stands out for its simplicity and clarity, so even the most inexperienced traders will not have any difficulty grasping the functionality of the terminal. Apart from standard features, Allpips offer a copy-trading service which is a great tool for both beginners and seasoned traders.

The Allpips web terminal is an outstanding means for studying the price fluctuations of different financial instruments, that is distinguished by settings flexibility, a wide range of technical indicators, graphical tools, and types of charts. Cryptocurrencies are just one of the many asset classes that are available on the platform.
